Fire risk assessment Fire safety is a key area in the use and management of buildings. Reducing the risk and spread of a fire protects lives, property and buildings.

Assessing the level of risk is a key methodology that enables a working solution that will satisfy the legislative requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (2005), The Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 and the Housing Act 1985.

It is the responsibility of the person managing premises to ensure that a fire risk assessment has been carried out and that the resultant actions have been implemented. John Mullen Building Surveying are able to provide an appropriate level of service that can support the responsible person or the project manager. We are also able to support the design team at the early stages of the design process in providing solutions that complement the design.
